Standing ovation as Rep. Barbara Lee takes the stage. Congresswoman Lee was the only member of congress to vote against war in Afghanistan.

It's interesting then that the anti-Afghanistan war rallies were less well-attended than this. Why is that? Perhaps because this one built over a longer time, bringing people from all over the western states? Or was the Afghanistan war easier to sell to the American public, after 9-11?
